Yep. It's gonna cost as much (if not more) than an AEG.

On the plus side no tappet plate and no anti-reversal latch.

I dunno.  It looks good in the short term, but I can't see what's stopping this from breaking in the front end of the gearbox shell like any other V2... :?

Still made of pot-metal.

I'm not too impressed with that piston setup either.

I think the best thing that can be done to improve the V.2 at this time is to make the shell out of machined (billet) Aluminum.

Seemed like they skipped that step in their "revolution" gearbox.

Personally thinking (just like everything else) wait for a Mk. 2

It is something I'll keep a close eye on though. Full-auto airsoft always bugged the hell outta me, and the current switchs are too unreliable in their consistancy.

I'll agree with you there.

This does alleviate some significant design flaws.  It simply failed to address the biggest one, IMO.

I would be nice If the just sold the internals, so i could put them in my already awesome 7mm gearbox. That trigger seem like a nice upgrade, esp for people who are pushing pretty big 10.4.

they added another gear, so you would have to use their new gearbox.

I think the biggest design flaw is price. China is making things cheaper, japan should follow the lead instead of going backwards and making things more expensive.

Too little, too late, for too much.

No, it's cast aluminum now.

Castings are plenty strong for this application.

I held this gearbox, and it's strong. The piston is great.

If they can get these to fit into Classic Army bodies, it'll be a winner.

It's gonna cost like, $400...but, this is airsoft. You gotta pay to play.

Nice, I outlined my thoughts in that thread on Arnies(UrPeaceKeeper is the name) in a very long thoughtout post.  Honestly though, trading FA for 3 round burst and a bunch of other features can be had for 70$ shipped.  www.extreme-fire.com sells what he calls "SW-Computer" that does 3 round burst and more.

I have to say though, this GB will be interesting to watch, but not on my top list of things to buy.

So YOU'RE the one that broke it... :)

When I swung by they said it was "broken" so they couldn't show it to us.

the 3 round burst sounds cool. its an interesting product, indeed. but for the price of a new AEG, and a little short of a new XD,  I'd rather put my money elsewhere.

There IS, in fact, a point at which i have spent too much money on airsoft.

i think...

I think I have already spent to much money on airsoft, a couple of times over, so I just don’t keep track anymore.

I don't think you understand the difference in build quality between things made by Chinese teenagers and Japanese engineers.

I'm pretty sure they're going to make a version for CA's.

I think the Revolution gear box is a pretty bad-ass idea.
when installed in an AEG you get the trigger response and gearbox reliability of a PTW plus the accuracy of an AEG with a Marui type hop-up.
I for one know I miss my TM's accuracy but wouldn't want to ever give up my PTW's trigger response (and sound) and if they throw 3-round burst in there well thats just icing on the cake.
I'm excited.
