I am also very leary of the USP rail system.  There is not enough (BY FAR) contact between the slide rails and the frame nubs.  It hasn't failed yet, but I'd be happier with full rails.  I have it for training purposes and I have come to like it quite a bit, but it's no SIG.

Hey!  Just because it falls apart around me and makes all sort of noises over 50 does not qualify it as raggedy.  And so what if I put 100 MPH tape to good use on the exterior?  It adds character. [^]

Oh, and BTW, stand clear to the rear when I start that Ol Baby up!  He ain't lyin', kids!

Oh, why not.

Winchester M70 in .308 (soon to have a Leupy VariX-III 4.5-14x40AO)
Remington 1100 in 20g (I LOVE this thing!)
Beretta M96 .40S&W
S&W 422 .22LR (Pre-ban, LOL).

Soon to have a Savage MkII LV .22LR with Bushnell 4.12x40AO provided the seller gets his driver's license copy to my FFL in the near future (ie., this year, literally)! Probably got lost in the mail. [:(]

Mr. Joseph, the federal tax stamp on all Class III/NFA items (excepting AOW items) are $200 regardless of how much you pay for it.

The MP5 was 10K before sales tax.  The transfer tax on that beast was $400, double tax stamp since it was suppressed, $200 for the gun, $200 for the suppressor.
