Lead (non-jacketed/coated) rounds just dirty the gun up faster.  You should not have to shoot the stingers in order to be happy with the results.  And if you're finding Stingers for $8-$9 (9MM range) for only 50 shots, run.  That's robbery.  If it's for a brick or a half brick, that's a fair price.

Just be sure to learn how to strip the gun and clean it thorougly Joey.  .22's especially auto loaders get very dirty and should be cleaned after every couple hundred rounds to keep them functioning properly.

Yea, some advice there would be great, since this is my first real firearm.  After every use I remove the slide, clean out the barrel, and the area where the bullet slides out of the clip, don't know the technical term.  I also clean any and all visible dirt, then I oil the slide rails as the manual says to do, and put a very light coat of oil over the metal parts of the gun and wipe it off.  Does this sound about right, anything else that I should do?  Should I clean the clips, excuse me, magazines?

I'm glad to hear someone say that it was a good choice.  I read alot, but noone that I've talked to has any sort of opinion, mostly gun salesman at gun stores.  I love the thing, I went and shot it again today.  I was at a pond in Prescott, that was frozen over.  Needless to say I shot the **** out of the ice.  I also put a beer bottle that I found at a distance of at least 80 yards and nailed it in 3 shots, I havent even played with the sights yet.

I don't really know too much about real ammunition though.  All I know so far is that I should not use any .22 round that isn't copper coated.  What ammunition do you guys (that know) should I use.  .22 is cheap enough that I don't care what it is or if I have to go to a gun store to get it.  All I see is brands...what grain (weight?)...is high velocity OK?

Well, all in all, I did find where to get a clip below the 45 gun stores want, cheaperthandirt.com has them for 33.
