Why don't you just open one yourself?

Trust me and a few others on the hiking boots. Skip the military boots, there is a reason nobody wears them while they are deployed.

Let us know what you pick up at REI.

KJW M4's seem to be the bees knees. Search this forum, you'll find an extensive write up.

RRV + MBSS Hydration Pack.

I'll get pictures of mine in a bit. I've used the RAV, CIRAS, Weesatch, 1961A, LCE/ALICE gear, USGI Issued gear, and have liked this one the best.

I also have an MBSS rig thats good for when you don't need anything besides ammo and a bit of water.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: AIRSOFT GI vs evike?
« on: March 31, 2011, 08:22:10 AM »
Huge +1 for EBAirsoft. If you see something you like, MAKE SURE you read reviews (both on and off their site) to see how people thought of it, how it held up, etc. I've seen some pretty neat things come from them that could take a beating, and others that fell apart while putting it together.

If it is between GI and Evike? I'll go with Airsoft GI. Evike has messed up too many of my orders.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: thoughts on FPS limits.

also, i recently went to an arena to play and the limit is 330 fps and my gun was shooting 345, is that really a big difference, enough to let me not play after i just payed 20 bucks?

Rules are rules. They state they may not shoot over 330. Not 330-ish, 330.

is 15mph over the posted speed limit really a big difference? is $15 short of a utility bill really a big difference? Responsibility and accountability. At closer ranges these things can do damage. Look at Ronny-Two-Faces new scar, or all the pictures I posted.

There are FPS limits in place for good reason. Nil8r had a BB embedded in his head from a handgun.

If you want a more realistic experience, go join the Army. We have plenty of slots.

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: 2 questions about Teams and Patches
« on: March 28, 2011, 07:17:34 PM »
If I saw someone wearing unearned badges tabs and patches it would take a lot for me to not personally rip them off myself.

You didn't earn those. Buy BDU's, cut the name tapes, service tape, patches, tabs, rank, off. I know I'm not the only one that feels this way.

Just send Doc Hollywood a PM about wearing the tapes.

If I give my son a 101st Airborne Division patch that I earned, that doesn't mean he can or should go sporting it around. If you want a customized patch with your team name, there are lots of resources for that. If you all want to run around with a 1st Armored Division patch someones dad earned, you are fixing for an ass kicking.

Best of luck.

Let the economy show them the way. Stop buying their products, stop giving them your money. Find other places to play. Carpool to games out of the city.

When they are filing for bankruptcy maybe they'll consider listening to the customers next time around.

ICOM F4S by far. Red Dog has hooked MANY MANY MANY of us up. I remember the rubber cover on my antenna fell off 2 days before a game, and he overnighted a new antenna, free of charge.

Because idiots like you playing in/on land that may or may not be privately owned is illegal.

It is shit like this that leads to bans on airsoft, and police shooting 15 year old kids holding airsoft guns.

Do I have any legal troubles? No, but both my brother in laws and sister are law enforcement in Gilbert and Mesa, they have been made aware of this.

Vanguard is right down the street. Play legally or risk our hobby.

And you wonder why people get pissed when minors want to play. You bring this upon yourselves.

43
Who owns the land?

Just because you've been doing it for a while doesn't make it legal for you to even be on their land.

Do you have permission to play there?
