So maybe this wouldn't be big news for any of you, BUT!

I just bought my first piece of gear that actually had any MOLLE webbing, yes, I'm a late bloomer. Its a CIRAS Replica made by Phantom, size small, Olive Drab. Has a carrying capacity of:

12 M16 Magazines
3 Pistol Magazines
1 Small Utility Pouch
1 Medical Bag (No eyepatches)
1 Dump Pouch
1 Radio Pouch
1 Hydration Pouch

Very evenly distributed, just waiting on a few things to fill those pouches and the hydration carrier.

Can't wait to use it in a game and see how it works. Any tips or suggestions, let me know.

That's some sexy-looking gear. What was the damage to your wallet?

$200 for the vest with a few pouches. Am Selling the old pouches and am buying real deal pouches. All the M16 pouches, that utility/pistol combo, and the dump pouch (on the right) were all bought afterwards. Total cost maybe around $235?

Still looking for replica SAPI Plates

That's an assload of M16 mags...That thing looks awesome though. If I wasn't leaving on the 23rd I would certainly jump on the bandwagon...

UPDATED.

Bought a medium sized OD Hydration pack earlier today and have a few other new things on the CIRAS. Figured I would post a picture with whats new.

Got the radio and am fully decked out on the front. I store my ICOM in one of the M16 magazine pouches.

Shot of the backpack and a smaller medical pouch.

Being the EMT in Training, I have a pretty well stocked Medical pouch.

I had some money to blow, so I did. Honestly? Yeah, I could carry LC2 gear, a dump pouch, and a camelbak, but I'd rather have something I like.

Theres not one thing on that vest that does not serve a purpose. Yeah, I have quite a bit of magazines...neccesary? Not quite, but I do plan on going to a large operation out of state one of these days. Always a plus.

Back in the BT days, instead of walking back to the trucks to restock, we would just meet up and reload and regas in the field, saving time and elongating our playing time. Thats the purpose of the backpack. It also has a pouch for a Camelbak, so why not?

The pistol magazine pouches and integrated utility pouch? Not only was it something a bit different, but it can hold the 3 (Plus one in the weapon) magazines that came with my deal of a sidearm. The utility pouch can hold a compass, a notepad, a pen or two, spare batteries, some munchies....whatever.

The M16 Magazine pouches, well? Obviously they are to hold the magazines for my rifle. Why so many? Simply because I can.

The medical pouch? No matter what rig I carry, that would be on me at all times as long as I can help it. I'd rather have all those stupid silly bandages and snake bite kits and what-not and never have to use them, then be stuck with someone who got bit by a rattle snake and have no medical supplies.

I always wanted a rig that I had a bit of say as to how it was. I was using old school USGI LBV's, which are perfectly fine, but just not something I wanted to keep forever. You get what you pay for, basically.

After carrying LC2 and LBV's in the Marine Corps and now having a plate carrier harness its sooo much better it frees up the waist so when going into the kneeling or prone i dont have to worry about anything.

This is airsoft.  Is any of it really necessary?  When did necessity come into play for a game?  :)
