You really have to rethink what the best vehicle for this kind of thing is.
Characteristics of an excellent vehicle for airsofting:
1) Reliable. Breaking down to/from or during the game is unacceptable, nobody cares about the cool truck that you couldn't get working to bring to the game.
2) Must be able to hold a decent amount of people. Willis jeeps are neat for you and maybe 2 other people, not so cool for the other hundred guys who want a ride back to the FOB.
3) Economical. People will rarely chip in for gas and that gas guzzler though great for the game is burning $$$ getting there and back. Oh, and people will break your car (shoot out mirrors, blow tires, shoot out radiator) so inexpensive repair parts are a plus.
4) Looks can be deceiving, but they are still important. My RSOV type jeep is great for transport and looks badass, do we all die when we are peppered with full auto fire, yes, would I change that, well... maybe, but we look so cool. Your Korean war ambulance may be neat in your mind and more protective but nobody will want to ride in it.
My Truck is pretty neat, but the perfect vehicle for airsoft IMO is an 85-88' Toyota pickup. Paint it tan, put a pintle in the back and you are done.
