It's kind of wierd, me writing about myself in this forum. Most all of the original AA members know who I am. But I figure there's enough newer (and younger) members and other players who don't know who I am. So, I take pen in hand (or keyboard on desk, as the case may be) to introduce myself to the growing ranks of an organization I love and care about. My name is Curtis Greer. I go by the moniker "TheRev". The reason I am called "TheRev" is because I am a Rev, or Reverend, that is. I am an ordained minister of the Christian faith. But before any of you Jesus bashers out there get your knickers in a knot, I'm not the kind of Christian that jams Jesus down your throat. Quite the opposite actually. I like to lead by example. This thought process goes back to my days in the military (US Army, 1976 - 1989). Now, most of my airsoft activities have been in the planning and logistics arena. While I have not been on the field as much of late (and much to my woe, having missed LC4), I still drop in these forums on a daily basis. I've seen a tremendous amount of change taking place. Some good, some not so good. Needless to say, things can get a little exciting in here sometimes. As a moderator, it is partly my responsibility to see that things stay civil in here, and that's what I do. But I also like to see the pot get stirred up every once in awhile. It's good for soul... let's all the dross come to the surface. Well, you get my meaning (and if you don't... well, it doesn't matter to you anyway). So anyway, just thought I'd say hi, let ya'll know I'm still here.
