Lipo help
« on: March 20, 2013, 06:26:42 PM »
Hey whats up guys, i just recently decided to invest in a lipo, tenergy 11.1v 1000 mah to be exact,  and i bought a lipo charger to go with it. Now my JG runs on a large type, so i wired the lipo to a large type. But once i put it into the gun, and tried to fire all i got was a motor clicking noise, now i dont know what this means, and was wondering if anyone could help me out?

Im sure the battery is charged and my wiring isnt the issue. And my 8,4 is working fine with it

Under your Grip there should be a screw and you need to loosen it or in needs to be tightened just mess around with it and every time you make a change just shoot it and if you still have that problem then keep messing with it hope this helps you.

You sure the battery was wired with the right polarity and the connectors are properly installed?

It could be that- you wired the battery leads into the wrong holes.. when you accidentally do this, it causes the motor to spin in the opposite direction.
I realize that while most people suck, there are still some genuine characters that exist out here. I'll show my appreciation by being genuine in return.

this is the wrong advice for this problem.
most likely you do have the polarity backwards. the easyest way to test this is to take the motor out and turn it 180 degrees and put it back in. i bet it fires right up after that. if it doesnt then you have another problem that you need to deal with.
never underestimate the things you dont know.

Does your battery charger have a port for the balance leads?
If you plug the battery into the charger it should tell you if the polarity is incorrect.

Well i took a look at it today, and cut the fuse out, and put a new connector on the battery and it seems to be shooting pretty good, guess i wired it wrong and messed with the polarity. But thanks everyone for the help!
