if you dont like the price you guys have your AA games...

You make it sound like our games are inferior to yours, it truly is a matter of what you prefer. Some people prefer games that are a sad half hearted attempt at making a play style between paintball, airsoft, and military simulation.

This new field you speak of $3,000 when it IS completed I don't believe I know anyone over the age of 21 willing to spend that kind of money to play in a 'state of the art' airsoft field. Most of them know what $3,000 can get them, and usually airsoft would not be on the top of that list. When I think of $3,000 for a annual pass what I think of is your CURRENT target audience. Rich, spoiled kids from Scottsdale that can beg their parents into buying them a mercedes if they want them to. One thing I am confused about if your current target audience IS 21+ why do you have so many minors on your team, minors that don't quite follow your 'target audience'?

Annual Passes are not $3K and will never be. The $3k price is planned for the future

Anyone else find those two lines in the same paragraph a little contradictory?

Truth is the way I see it Marauders airsoft has NO idea what they want to do right now, so what they did was have a meeting say Hey lets make some $ by making a really cool field! However instead of actually RESEARCHING people of your target audience to see if it COULD happen you just go ahead and go for it. Anyone who has taken a year in a University should know that there's a lot of work you have to do before you decide to do something. From what I've read it seems they were either
A) Too lazy to do that work, which would not speak well for their field.
Or
B) Just didn't think their plan through.

I also read Marauders is planning on this field being used as training for Police and Military, a true businessman would have contacted both w/ a business plan, and model for their facility. Instead of actually receiving money from THOSE institutions they instead force the cost of this project of theirs onto the current airsoft community.

Overall, this was very poorly planned on the Marauder's part. Personally, even if I was very wealthy. If I could easily spend $3,000 annually, I would NOT spend it through the Marauders, why would I spend $3,000 into something so poorly planned that could go out of business within a month.

*NOTE* Sorry for the long post. *NOTE*

I made it pretty much all the way in a Honda Civic that clearanced the ground by about a coke can.

Note : pretty much all the way ain't all the way.

Got past the creek, but the sand after it was extremely soft during the storm right?

I have checked the field out a few times in the past few months it seems to me the road has improved quite a bit. The water section might have become slightly deeper, but I'm not sure. I think the farmers out there threw down some small rocks on most of the road that gets the most water to help keep it from washing away.

As far as wearing helmets, they're HIGHLY recommended. I'm only 5'11 I've bashed my head in there before. In addition to tripping over random objects laying inside the CQB area. Awesome site, but can be very painful![/quote]

I'm not sure about anyone else but my work sucks when it comes to requesting days off I have to request a full month - month ½ in advanced...

Me and my friends have decided that we're gonna go ahead out to four peaks this saturday anyway to play just for fun, no storyline or anything like that just have a blast hopefully. Anyone else who is still up for some airsoftin this weekend anyway we're planning on leaving conoco at 11am so get there about 10:40ish... any questions just go ahead and pm me.

As for teams/sides we wont worry about it because some of my friends refuse to even wear camo for some unknown reason to me but who cares we're just out there for fun bring any camo you want. I got 6-8 friends incase you were wondering...

Just to let you guys know, at Mt. Ord they're doing a controlled burn, and spread out of control. It's been on the news, and road into four peaks was closed, might want to check it out before everyone drives down there and stuff like that.

Checked the National Forest road closures info, says controlled burn is completed, and nothing about road closures so I'm guessing you guys are good to go...
