Where would I go about finding a nice selection of these "ganster grips"?

I really like the end-cap button on those.. only have to move my thumb up to turn that baby on and it is back to grip action. =P

Whats the usual price range for a decent one?

AZSarge makes them.  Prices vary on flashlight and materials used.

Im in for this one.  Gotta cut back on food so I can make it down there gas wise...I dumped almost $200 in ammo today.  So much fun.  Either uniform color works for me though.

Rick

Real steal ammo I hope. $200 in bb's would be over the top.

I'm in, ACU please.
Hey Azsarge, this will start on time right? Haa!! ;)

That would be correct.  A could hundered 9mm, 300 or so .45, and 500 rounds of .223.  Whole lotta fun...but dang thats alot of money...

I just saw it.  It was alright.  But I have one question though, did they make Oakley M-Frames like that in '91?

Haha really?  They had M-frames, but they were a much boxier style back then.

Then again, the oakleys were rocked in BHD and that was 93...

Not sure whats so hard to understand about that...

The only thing is I think he may have meant "turned" not "tuned"

Tuned - Shot

And, Ganefs right. It's an anti-war (or anti-recruitment) film. It was hardly funny, entertaining, or anything else.

'Rick', research something before you talk about it. K?

Me research? Or the other guy? Cause if you were talking to me, try reading my post again.

Again, I am sure to make lots of points with this, but it IS how I saw it.

Another typical Gen X film loaded with GEN X Tunes, and lots of blah........
RAP sucks and has no place in society, except for prisons.
This is NOTHING but a recuitment film, trying to swing in some braindead high school drop outs to sign up.

Waste your money elsewhere.

FLASH

A recruitment film not sponsored by the Marines in anyway, without any contact with the actual Corps? Try again.

This was a good thread. Hate to see it go downhill (to the tune of 2 full pages) in just a day.

Back kinda on topic, from everything that I have seen, the suppliments and stuff are great for getting into shape for a body building competition, or to show off for the ladies, but are not necessary if you want your body to perform.  When it comes to actually humping a load long distances or moving around in a patrol/gunfight they dont do much for you.  Believe it or not in order to pass courses in the Army such as Ranger School or SFAS it helps to have fat on your body.  Overall fitness is good, but being able to push yourself and take pain come into play much more when applying strength to the real work.

Its actually the Ranger Challenge competition for our Brigade.  Im NCIOC of our team so we will see how that goes.  Not much else to do out there in that part of Cali.  Cadet command got cheap this year, so we have to drive all the way out there which means no trip to San Fran (After the competition last year I had lunch 3 times within an hour and a half, it was heaven).

The 12th works for me.  I have to re-check all the points on our 60 point land nav course up here at some point that weekend, but Ill just pick the other day.

Sounds like alot of fun.  We end up doing the elliptical with rucks on days when its too muddy to run (you can run...just you are getting nowhere fast). An hour of that will kill you flat out.  One thing Ive stopped recently is eating as healthy as possible.  Just doesnt do enough for me.  Plus my PFT score has gone up almost 40 points...AND I can still have donuts!

Weight lifting is good. But you wont always lose the weight. like what happens with me and my dad is we turn are fat into muscle, and  we look good. But, sometimes we weigh more or around the same. Do lots of cardio with the weights too. Run like 2 miles several times a week with a good diet. Me when I run I run four. But, thats because I have realy good endurance, and I like to hurt myself.

4 miles? Endurance? Try again.

Not a bad start tho!

lol Thats like for me an average every day type of run, and try that up hill 8)or with carrying heavy pack!!!

Welcome to every day of my life.

Ran 6 this morning with 50lbs, LBE, and weapon in full BDUs and boots.

I havent ever tried any of the costly products on the market.  When I came to AZ I was a round 5'10" 170lb guy.  I did alot of running/swimming/pushups/sit ups and got down to 148.  From there I started lifting alot (twice a day most days) and eating lots of meat (Beef, chicken, anything) and im back up to 165.  I dont see a difference between me and the guys that I work out with that drop $60 on a bottle of suppliment crap.
