My new SR and Weesatch
« on: February 04, 2005, 01:55:58 PM »
Heres 2 quick pictures I took of the new gun in the family.  Shes got full internals and upgraded w/ a M120 along w/ a prometheus 6.03mm barrel.  Thus making her my 1st upgraded gun ever.  Im still trying to find a stock to hold the battery.  The weesatch is pretty bare right now too, but more pouches are on the way.

Enjoy!

I know shes only kinda 1/2 painted, but thats the order I got the parts in and I kinda like the look.  Hopefully at the ATA/LC4 alot of you green guys will see the evil side of her. The sad thing is I miss the 10.5 inch barrel from my old SR alot...

Looks kinda cool. Nice 'satch. I have that keyboard too. I won't be tasting your SR, you'll be tasting my spetz :D. Will those pouches on the front of the vest hold AK mags?

The TT mag shingles wont hold AK mags.  They wont even fit the thermold M16 mags.  They are sized perfectly for the GI M16 mags.  I keep some padding in the bottom so they sit at the right height due to the fact TM mags are shorter than the real deal.   We'll see how it works on at the game...haha

The ROTC manual adds a nice touch!

Since evereyone and their brother now has a Weesatch, we ought to start a thread similar to the RAID pack thread on the LF boards.

"Huge Ultimate WEESATCH thread", so all of you guys can post pictures of your naked HSGI rig (I have yet to see any one of yours with a satisfactory ammount of extraneous nylon).

I mean, why go with shingles?  Like you don't have enough open PALS as it is?  Please tell me you are putting MORE mag pouches over that!

I see it now, a truckload of tired troopers at LC4 riding down the road dubbed the "Yellow Weesatch Trail", so named for it's frequent travel by those fatigued by too much gear.

You guys pump me up! 8)

Haha well I had the shingles on a drop leg platform, and I figured since im using the STAR 30 rounders I might as well toss them on my weakside just to give me a few more easy reloads before having to reach across my chest to the strongside.  Im picking up a hydration pouch for the rear and at least a MM rollypolly for the front.  This vest isnt just for airsoft though, I plan on taking some courses at Gunsite before I head to GA this summer and then while im back east hitting up a rifle course at Tactical Response.

The ROTC manual, Ranger Challenge shorts, and PT jacket were all just sitting on my couch so they got the new gear tossed on top of them.

And I have ran MUCH farther than an airsoft game w/ MUCH heavier gear so its really not that bad.  We have been training for the Bataan Death March coming up and and its been pretty rough.  We are running in the heavy division.

Looking forward to putting the new gun/gear to use!
