We don't have "fields"...because those are lame, but we do have places where we go and play regularly and it's ok to play there. All are out of city limits because thats where its legal to play, and at the time there are no indoor places to play. I live in Chandler, what part are you moving to? Any crossstreets?

There are supposedly two indoor places going to spring up soon.  I overhead some guy who works at Arizona Paintball Depot talking about it (bringing my brother in to look at stuff).

Chivaman must be moving from California.  Anyways welcome.  There are no fields, we use the available terrain and as stated thats is out of city limits.  There are plenty of games going on all the time, just look on the boards.  Then there is 1 official AA game a month pretty regularly. There are only a few JT stores here and those stores are the only stores worth mentioning. JT just started here recently and its been great.

I'll be moving to Chandler (near the Chandler Fashion Center for reference) in a week or two here from Pittsburgh, PA. A little about me, I'm ex-USAF and I'll be going to the Police Academy as soon as I get down there. I've been playing airsoft for the past 4 years and my only piece right now is my KJW M9. Most combat I got (if you can experience combat in the Air Force) is participating as OpFor during an exercise for Security Forces at Elmendorf. Either way, I hope I can get in on some action with you guys and girls when I get settled in down south.

We the willing, led by the unknowing, are doing the impossible for the ungrateful.
We have done so much, for so long, with so little,
we are now qualified to do anything with nothing.

Hey, my dad was born and raised in Pittsburgh PA. A good place. Although, he was in the Army, not USAF. ;).

You're already off to a good start :-P

Hey trigger! I grew up in Alaska and was very involved in CAP - got to fly in a 15 at Elmendorf at encampment. Welcome to the surface of the sun and I'll look for you in the field. Which agency are you on the job with?

Some good games happen down around Tucson as well.  I'd stick around Prescot for Summer sessions, then Tucson/Phoenix for the rest of the year.

Bad experiences with JT(guy there tells me he can't fix my gun[not because it is unrepairable, he just didn't know how]).

Soft Air Depot in scottsdale is an awesome place though, very friendly, know what their doing etc.

But imo it is better to learn how to repair your own gun.  It is actualy quite simple.

oooh, let me give you the heads up..

JT is the best shop around, no doubt about it. If it wasn't, why would most of the people on this board hang at JT just to talk, after hours? Everyone that works at JT are on these boards, the local Airsoft Arizona forums. Now, everyone at SAD ARE NOT on these boards, because they're not for real airsoft, and they'll be going out of business soon.

Nothing like getting your gun back from SAD and having parts glued together.

Not to get off topic, but in short poor airsoft knowledge and poor saftey practices make SAD dangerous to airsoft in my mind.  There is a whole thread about it, search it and add comments there if any. But not here.

SAD:
-Higher end products like Marui, Prometheus, Classic Army as well as low-end springers.
-Outrageous prices
-Unknowledgeable staff (althought the boss seems to be putting forth an effort to learn)

JT
-Low-end products from SRC and Infinity "Tactical".
-Decent prices
-Very knowledgealbe staff!
-Owned and operatoed by airsofters (guys that PLAY the GAME!)
-The ONLY shop in town that I would give my AEG to for repairs.  Well, not my SAW, but if I had an SRC I'd let them go at it.
