Airsoft Items FOR SALE / Classic Army G36E
« on: December 10, 2007, 09:29:51 PM »

Pro's
-Interals practically flawless except for minor wear on piston
-magzines still feed
-magazines still tab together
-amazing accuracy and distance
-brand new hop up chamber
-New stronger fuse included so you won't have to replace it
-I fixed the selector switches so they don't wobble
-I fixed the common issue most G36s have were they stall and don't fire anymore
-Charging handle in almost perfect shape!

-Comes with Original box, cleaning rod, and manual.

-You're basically buying a completely stock CA36 with only a small bit broken off the pistol grip, a battle worn reciever, and the internals look as good as they did when I first opened up the gearbox.  I'm even including the box and everything that came with it in the box.

Cons
-Stripped head on one of the three barrel screws. (the screw threads are fine, it's the just the head that's damage)

-Glue marks on stock

-crack near rear sling hook, however, has no affect since there's an underlying metal frame of the whole fiberglass body which is part of the sling hook.

-scratches on reciever, all are minor and don't affect performence in any way

-bottom front part of pistol grip was smashed at one point, doesn't affect performence at all

-Both hicaps included can't be wound outside of the gun or bbs will go everywhere and the trap doors also come open as they are broken

-The gearbox has a deepfire selector plate which required me to cut some of the end off for it to work without apply stress by bending it.  It may look weird, but it's very durable and functions flawlessly.

Asking Price: $120
Bought it new off airsplat.com for: $230

*Note: I'm not including a battery. This gun only takes block batteries, nothing else will fit.  If you would like, I will sell you my Intellect 8.4v 1200mAh battery for $15 in addition to the G36E.  I will not however sell anything included with this gun seperately.

Apologies for such large pics, my computer is being weird and resizing them when I upload them to the internet...

I can meet you at the gearbox, or we can discuss an alternative location.

AEG's / CA36 stock pin not coming out...
« on: December 09, 2007, 08:23:13 PM »
Ok, this is really pissing me off, I've been hammering this god damn stock pin for about a week and a half and it's barely budged.  Does anyone have any reccomendations as to how to get it off?  Like what you did to get your stock pin out so you could remove the stock?

I really need to remove the stock so I can put it on my new (well, used) reciever as my current one is damaged. :(

Accessories & Gear / Digital BDU pattern fading?
« on: November 10, 2007, 10:35:04 PM »
Has anybody noticed their Digital BDU fading?  Because mine's been fading pretty heavily, but my mom's tellin' me it's probaly because of the high cotton content and the complex digital pattern is probaly fading the same rate as any other pattern would on cotton, it's just more noticible.

I've never had this problem with any of my old Desert or Jungle BDU, but then again, those patterns were nowhere near as tightly bunched or as varied as a pixelated pattern.

My Desert Digital BDU however, seems to be fading quite a bit when compared with my brother's which has been washed less.  Additionally, I noticed that an old surplus ARPAT hat my Aunt's boyfriend gave me seemed to be displaying simlar fade.  Also, about a year ago, I borrowed a friend's Digital Desert Shirt and noticed his had faded quite a bit over the year or so he had owned it.

I was reading somewhere that a brand called 'Proper' is more fade resistant than the brand I use 'Tru-Spec', however, Proper has a higher cotton content, so I don't see how this is possible.  I've also heard that real MARPAT is more fade resistant than clones like 'Proper' or 'Tru-Spec'.  Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks for the help.

P.S. I was also thinking, would Multicam be more fade resistant than Digital patterns?

General Airsoft Discussion / Looking for a store with selector plate
« on: September 09, 2007, 10:13:23 AM »
My friends ECHO 1 G36 selector plate snapped today (my fault, not the gun's), so I'm looking for a replacement and really don't want to pay shipping on a ten dollar part.

Anybody know of a store around town I can pick one up at?

Thanks. ;)

Accessories & Gear / Guarder Super Torque vs. Hummer 1100 series motor
« on: August 20, 2007, 06:23:32 PM »
I'm looking for a new motor to put in my CA36 for when I throw in a M120.

Anybody used these?  I really am leaning towards the Guarder as it looks higher quality and it's a tab bit cheaper, but if the hummer would perform better, I'm not going to hesitate to get it.

Could any owners of this hop up bucking please describe it's performence and no offense, but could anyone who doesn't own one please avoid posting?

Thank you.

Accessories & Gear / German Loadout
« on: July 30, 2007, 10:35:43 PM »
Ok, so myself along with four other inviduals decided we would like to crete our own little team consisting of us five minors.  We also decided that we love the G36 and are all going to purchase variants of the CA36 (which I realize is an export model, but I'm really not willing to shell out over 150 dollars for the dual optics) and Desert Flecktarn.

Now, the problem is I have no idea what sort of vests/chest rigs the German Military would use let alone where to purchase them.

If anyone could help me out with pointing me into the right direction to look for Flecktarn and the more or less proper German Vest/Chest Rigs, it would be much appreciated.  I'm looking for cheaper items as we are all minors without jobs currently (like under $80 for BDU and under $200 for the Vest/Chest Rig).

Thanks! :D

P.S. I'm not going for a hardcore Milsim German Loadout, just the uniform, Vest/Chest Rig, and CA36 to give the team a German 'look'.

AEG's / CA36 body strength
« on: July 15, 2007, 01:50:31 PM »
Ok, I'm going to be purchasing one of these soon, however, I'm a little worried about body strength.  So, what I want to know is if anyone has fallen on, dropped, thrown, abused a CA36 and if so what were the results?  That's all I really want to know as I know a lot of people who own replicas from the CA36 series that were able to tell me all I wanted to know except for the question of how much abuse a CA36 can take.

P.S. I am very experienced with AEGs and currently own a M15A4 Carbine.  I'm just looking into another gun to complement that has long range and a V3 gearbox as I'm sick of armalites, so I chose a CA36 as my next replica.
