I don't know about fake sordins but my real ones hurt after a few hours of wearing them. Comtac2s have more room inside the ear area and may be more comfortable for long wear. The fake ones also may have less stuff inside to push on your ear.

Gel earseals help a lot.

Yep, the gel seals allow you to wear the Sordins for 10 minutes without your head hurting instead of the 5 minutes of the stock pads.
