Airsoft GBB Semi/Full-Auto Shotguns
« on: March 31, 2011, 07:36:43 PM »
Does anyone besides me think this is a good idea? I think it would be amazing if a good GBB company like KWA or WE came out with a Saiga 12, Spas 12, or Benelli M4 (preferably the saiga) that had the tri-barrel system like spring M3s.

IMAGINE THIS IN AIRSOFT AS A GBB!!!!!

Well I don't really consider it a shotgun if its full auto.. especially in airsoft. I want to see a well priced, reliable, and useful gas pump action shotgun. Maybe a mossberg 500 or 870. I don't even like semi auto's (unless its a saiga.. I guess) but I don't see how that would be cool in airsoft.

Unless it shot 8mm   =D> ...

The Maruzen 870's and 1100's were awesome....  when they worked.

How would that not be cool?! A tri-shot, gbb, airsoft shotgun!!!! That would be great for cqb or as a sniper back-up! When I got into airsoft I though the UTG M3 tri-shot was the coolest thing... ididn't but one cause i had used my entire airsoft budget on an M16, gear, and KWA M9. If there was a Saiga airsoft tri-shot, I would have probably become a male stripper to earn the  extra $...

Having a real saiga is one thing, you can put a hole in someone the side of your fist, but there no actual advantage to having a shotgun as to an AEG. Maybe I'm just old school and was raised with pump actions, double barrels, lever actions, etc.
Actually.. a lever action would be cool. I think maruzen already made one though, I'm not too sure.

If you want a shotgun, do it right.  [smilie=armata_pdt_28.gif]
And before, if it wasn't clear, I meant the main advantage of having a shotgun in the real world is the stopping power at close range. In airsoft, all it does it set you apart from everyone else.

i guess there isnt but it would just be cool to use and it would be unique, and Maruzen made an m1887 i believe...

it would be good for cqb  same as a pump action...

Well why not just have an AEG than? If you don't want any sort of manual action, that's basically like not having a shotgun (in airsoft of course). I'm just not too partial to semi auto shotguns.

Not half as much of a problem indoors, say, at vanguard.

Even then, people will step on them or walk away with a few in their pockets. Also, then they have to stop everything while you run around picking up all the shells you lost during each round.

The cool part about having a shotgun is negated by airsoft. Also, have you seen Saiga-12 mags? compared to ak mags they are ginormous. Good luck finding mag pouches for them too...  :-"

Well I've never used a shotgun during a game so I wouldn't know. Ide imagin people can be dicks though. Very unfortunate.
