How to connect Xbox 360 to desktop computer?

Does anyone per chance know how to connect an xbox 360 to a desktop computer. And I don't mean how to connect one to a pc monitor I've been playing on one for a few years. I am simply asking because I don't want to have a side by side monitor set up.

are you wanting your xbox and pc to share the same monitor. OR trying to get you xbox to link with your pc to share pics and music?

Yes, I would like them to share the same monitor. I finally found a video on how to do so but I don't know of any stores that sell a vga switchbox. If you know of any that would be great because I really don't want to have to order one online.

how is you xbox currently pluged into your monitor? there might be a simpler solution

so im assuming your moniter only has a VGA in port and a AC (power) in port?

shit okay, then you will need a vga splittler/switch box. i would call local best buys. and other large electronic store like it. if all else fails www.newegg.com should have what ever you need.

There are monitors out now that have both VGA and HDMI so you could just switch inputs, or get a vga switchbox from Radio Shack or Fry's Electronics
