Troubleshooting / batteries and deans

Ok so I'm pretty new to modifying things and I just got an M4 that was wired to Deans. I either need a crane stock and crane battery or a full stock and a female deans for a battery I have.
Question is this: If I get the crane stock, do I HAVE to get a crane battery? Or will a nunchuck style work in a crane?
Also, do I need to wire the battery for deans, or can I use a tamiya to deans adapter?
Again, I'm new to these kind of things, so be nice.

I just got a JG M4 S-System and I need a crane stock and a crane battery that's wired for deans. I also need a male deans connector for my charger. I would also not mind a full stock and a female deans, as I already have a battery that would fit in a full stock. Last but not least, an M4 selector switch.

Actually I had an Echo1 M16 that for some reason wouldn't shoot unless it was upside down. Mag fed, and it was full.

Smart assery? I was trying to help out, you must be a dumb ass, wanting everyone to give you an answer, to lazy to review info yourself that has willingly been shared by others...
Google allows a variety of answers so one can make a judgment on various inputs,
I have had problems with un polished bbs, there you have an answer...

So I have some guns that just aren't working. We don't know why, but we're pretty sure they need to be looked at by someone with considerably more knowledge to look at and most likely fix them. Who does the AA community trust more? APD or this new store in AZ Mills, Heroes? I know the prices, I just wanna know who you would trust your gun to?
