Spring too long? Need Trim?
« on: October 03, 2013, 03:57:23 PM »
I bought a Guarder SP 90 Spring for my Rifle and it is one inch longer than the stock spring. Should I put it in or does it need to be trimmed to stock length to be usable?

Stock spring is on the left, while the Guarder SP 90 spring is on the right.

Springs vary in length.  I've seen some ACM guns with stupid short springs.

When I bought a new spring for my M4, the new one was also longer but it fit right in and it was fine.  It shoots real nice too. :-)

After market springs are longer, rare is it that they are the same if ever.
