Chandler Cinemas and Gearbox Airsoft are pleased to announce our very first collaboration: A showing of the classic movie RED DAWN!

Red Dawn is a 1984 film by John Milius about an invasion of the United States by the Soviet Union, Cuba and other communist Central American armies, and the resulting guerrilla actions of a group of American high school students in the town of Calumet, Colorado. At one time, Red Dawn was considered the most violent film by the Guinness Book of Records and the The National Coalition on Television Violence, with a rate of 134 acts of violence per hour, or 2.23 per minute. The movie features Patrick Swayze, C. Thomas Howell, Lea Thompson, Charlie Sheen, Jennifer Grey, and Powers Boothe. PG-13, 114 minutes

In addition to the film, we are also holding a Combat, Airsoft, Tactical, And Surplus Sale in the auditorium at the theater!

The sale will be held from 2pm to 5:30pm in the auditorium, the movie will begin promptly at 6pm.

The price for this event will be $6.00 per person. If you dress in full "Battle Rattle" (not just a uniform, but full gear loadout) the price is only $5.00! NOTE: Airsoft guns and weapons are to be brought for the sale only, not to brandish in public. Chandler Cinemas and Gearbox Airsoft will not be held responsible for any broken laws, so make sure to bring your stuff in cases/bags/etc. until you're in the auditorium! There is no additional charge to sell/swap your airsoft stuff, but please contact Ron at Gearbox Airsoft (1833 E. Southern Ave. Tempe, AZ 85252) at 480-831-3290 so we can allocate space. See you at the show!

General Airsoft Discussion / Swap Meet at Gearbox Airsoft - 04/06/08
« on: March 16, 2008, 12:14:19 AM »
On Sunday, April 6th, from 11 AM - 5 PM, we will be having the first of hopefully many more swap meets. Come and buy, sell, and trade your airsoft guns, gear, and accessories. The store will be open as well if you need anything, but the emphasis will be on the swap meet for that day.

No cost to buy or sell, limited table space available - bringing your own table is fine. I'm hoping this will be a cool thing to do from time to time and I think it'll be a good opportunity to get together and have some fun as well.

Our major cross streets are McClintock and Southern.  We're on the Southeast corner under the Jungletoy sign.  Address for mapquest/googlemaps/etc is below.

Please RSVP by posting in this thread so I can get an approximate headcount.

Thanks,

Ron

Accessories & Gear / AIRSOFT /GEAR "SWAPMEET" SALE THIS SUNDAY
« on: June 19, 2007, 04:22:30 PM »
Hi Everyone!

A bunch of us on here have tactical gear and accessories that we need to get rid of, so we're getting together this Sunday, June 24th in the Jungletoy "parking lot" to sell it off at rock bottom prices! Don't worry about the heat, it's all taken care of! (You'll find out how when you get there, or just ask in a PM.) Feel free to bring your stuff to sell too! All transactions will be cash or trade. THIS SALE HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH JUNGLETOY, WE'RE JUST USING THE LOCATION.

If this works out well, we'll be doing this again in the near future. I'll have some pictures up soon of some of the things you can expect to see at the sale.

WHEN: SUNDAY, JUNE 24th, 10am - 5pm
WHERE: 35th Ave and Northern (3525 W. Northern Ave. Phoenix AZ 85051)

« on: January 07, 2005, 08:16:41 AM »
Just wanted to let everyone know that Matt (Raith) and I will be down in Tucson for the gun show at the Pima County Fairgrounds this weekend, so stop by and say hi!

We're looking at opening a Tucson Jungletoy within the next month or so, and are taking applications for a Store Manager and a Part-Time position. I'll have applications at the gun show if anyone is interested.

General Airsoft Discussion / Vote for Pat Tillman -- Sportsman of the Year

I found this link over at www.lightfighter.com and thought it'd be nice to pass it on here. He is currently in third place. For those of you that didn't attend LC3, everyone from Arizona wore his number as a patch on our uniforms.

Scroll the pictures down until you see him, or look for his bio.

Hey everyone!

I just wanted to remind everyone that our Grand Opening is on Saturday, July 17th. We'll be opening the doors at 10am, and giving away free prizes to the first 200 people. Check out the link below for the offical flyer.

I check these forums on a daily basis. You guys are the greatest! Thank you so much for the kind words and support! We're trying our best, even though there are still a few kinks in the system at the moment.

Within the next 2 weeks, we should be fully operational, with most of the things in stock that you've all been requesting. What else would you all want to see in the store? More packages? Rare items? More parts? ;) Tell us what you'd like to see, and I'll pester the corporate office to see if we can make it happen. Thanks again everyone!

I work on my mags all the time, with a pair of needlenose pliers. Just make sure the points of the pliers fit well into the grooves on the valve head, or you can really scar up the channels and make removing it with a proper tool a bigger pain.
