General Airsoft Discussion / Jungletoy Arizona Opens June 21st
« on: June 20, 2004, 11:59:10 PM »
Hello Everyone!

I just wanted to give a quick update on the new store. We are offically open for business on Monday, June 21st, at noon, and we'll be open until 8pm every day this week. Our "grand opening" is July 17th, and will include many free giveaways and specials. As of right now, we have a little over half of our inventory, but the rest will be in in a couple of weeks.

I'll post more later, I have many cools things to tell you about! I hope to see you soon!

As I mentioned before, we should have something in Tucson around February.

One of the guys on our squad, Ken, has had these a little over a year now. They work great! I borrowed one for OP: Restore Order, but I didn't have the opportunity to use it in the field as we moved from building to building far too quickly. I'll see if I can bring one to the next game I attend, or better yet, I'll have him bring it. :)

This is a message to yellowmonkey and the rest of you regulars:

If you call the store with generic questions and don't say that you're from Airsoft Arizona (give me your username) or one of the other Arizona teams, you're going to get a generic answer. I (Ron) cannot sell airsoft or do repairs (yet) that are outside of Jungletoy's normal repair capabilities. I can, however, refer you to people like Scott, Spazz, John, etc. BUT ONLY IF YOU TELL ME WHO YOU ARE.

We've fixed this exact same problem a couple of times with great success, so if you're reading this yellowmonkey, call me at the store, tell me that it's you, and we'll do our best to get this taken care of.

We did the raffle drawing today (Monday) and called a few of the winners. The rest of you will find out tomorrow, and I'll post it here on the boards too.

We'll definitely be putting a store in Tuscon in the very near future. I'll let you know more as soon as I have the details.

We are located at 3549 W. Northern Ave. (SW corner of 35th Ave and Northern, Two doors to the right of "The Room Store.") We are in between a hair salon, and manicure mart, and there are no signs on the windows as of yet. Wednesday or so, we'll be much easier to find once the signs are in place. :)

See you there!

Sorry to hear that you were "blown off" at a game, but I'm not exactly sure by whom... I (Ron) normally use an AK47 or MC-51, and Scott has an SR-16. Neither one of us owns a P-90, so I'm not sure which of us you might be referring to. Which game was it? If it was the night game, I'm sorry if we seemed a little short tempered, but things were about an hour behind schedule and we were trying to maintain order. Again, sorry for the miscommunication, but you (hell, ANY of you) are more than welcome to attend any game we have.

I work on my mags all the time, with a pair of needlenose pliers. Just make sure the points of the pliers fit well into the grooves on the valve head, or you can really scar up the channels and make removing it with a proper tool a bigger pain.

Actually Harley, the yellow piston is the "newer" polycarb piston used by Classic Army. The color change from black to yellow was done so they could draw attention to the fact it's their own brand, and not a systema piston (which uses red or black). Structurally though, they are identical.

"Game On" Game rules are as follows:
CQB games are 300fps or less.
Open field games are 400fps for anything capable of full auto fire, and 500fps for single shot/bolt action sniper rifles (50 foot rule applies).

Most of us that play together try to keep the rules consistent, as it makes things safer and easier for everyone.
