That's awesome.  I would laugh if a replica is made, and someone programs an App for BBs lol.

If they do it will just be a dummy replica that will hold extra BBs for your Hicaps.

^ Vince is right, the outerbox is very good, I use it when I run, and I've droped it a few times and its still ok, the great case combined with the accelerometer(sp?) in the iphone that will autmaticly freeze the drive if it sences a drop so you wont loose data, plus everything is backed up on itunes.

They make the defender and the armor series. The defender is just a rugged case, but the armor ones are waterproof and are very solid. I have an armor case for my iPhone that I modified to fit my 3G and it's fucking awesome. It's huge, but it fits in a mag pouch well.

If anyone wants a ballistics program that isn't quite as expensive as the one mentioned, check out "Ballistic". The author is a great guy and the program is a bit cheaper with most of the same features.

The free SureFire shot timer app is great, too.

If only the iPhone used a hard drive.

It uses an SSD(flash memory), but same thing just no moving parts, if it sences free falling it does something to prevent any loss of data, but anyway the case is good.

That's like saying an electric motor and a gas motor are the same thing because they serve the same purpose.  Dropping flash memory is not going to cause it to lose data.  Neither would throwing it across the room or stepping on it unless you manage to do it with enough force to crush the entire PCB.  The accelerometer on the iPhone is only used for rotating the screen and related functions.  There's nothing for it to "protect" from being dropped short of generating a force field to protect the whole phone, but I think that's a little beyond Apple's current tech.  In addition, SSD normally refers to standalone replaceable flash drives, not flash memory integrated on a board.  But that's just being picky.

not necessarily, as solid state drives are becoming more and more popular as computer hard drives, as well as MP3 players and other gadgets =D
