As long as the Army doesn\'t know my motivation, they\'ll gladly call me a war hero.

How is the road to MTT?  On the MTT site mentions you might need a 4 wheel vehicle because of a wash..  Fortunately I live out near there, but I drive a low profile vehicle.

The road is in  pretty good condition. As a precautionary measure we always advise people who are coming out to the MTT UAC to avoid slowing down below 5 mph while crossing the wash or you might spin out your wheels and get stuck in the sand. Most cars and trucks have no problem crossing the wash even without 4WD as long as they don't have a low profile and don't stop/slow down too much while crossing. For those who have a low profile vehicle and plan on coming out to the field, when you register for an event, let us know that your vehicle may not be suited for crossing the wash (email us at MTTstaff@gmail.com).  We will try to work something out such as carpooling from Phoenix or transporting you and your gear to the field from a nearby collection point.

IMPORTANT - If you plan on attending OP: Blackout this weekend, please send MTT an email by this Friday 9 PM at MTTstaff@gmail.com to register for the event or stop by Gearbox to register by closing time Friday 7PM.

We need to send out game rules, directions to the field, and get a player count so we can plan missions accordingly.

Also, if you attend OP: Blackout, you will be eligible for a discount to the training classes required for those who wish to be Delta Force for OP: Black Hawk Down. Details about discounts and the training days will be made available at the event this weekend.

The unofficial player count is between 10 to 12 (won't be official until we receive your emails).  This game works best if we have a squad of at 12 U.S. Forces and at least 3 Insurgents

OP BLACKOUT is being postponed due to weather near the Urban Assault Course.  Monsoon rains and wind may make a night game and roads unsafe for travel.

A new date will be announced for the fall.
