Do what you want, but 30rd mags just make things difficult for yourself. I know some others have already said it, but, last time I checked, a plastic bb didn't have the range, accuracy, or penetration (of brush, wood, brick, etc.) that a .223 did. Oh, and by the way on the whole "limited ammo/resupply" thing, all the vets I've talked to who were in Vietnam carried anywhere from 500-1000 rds of real ammo (duh) when they knew for sure they were going to make contact and be in a sustained firefight. Just something to think about.
