Fog Repellent
« on: October 08, 2006, 03:02:34 PM »
I've done some searching but cannot find a general consensus on the subject. What type of fog repellent works best for goggles? I have a pair of Wiley X Nerve goggles, and, while they are far better than some of the cheaper brands I've used, they still fog up. So, I'm looking for some good advice - preferably first-hand experience - as to what works and what doesn't. Also, if you recommend a particular brand and know where to purchase it, please include a link if possible. Thanks all.

Was it Sunday that I used your "2 year old Fogtech"? If so I guess I guess it worked. Didn't experience any fog at all. Although the weather was pretty nice that day. Now Saturday when it was raining in the woods there wasn't anything that would prevent the fog. No matter what I did, I couldn't clear my lenses (even with Skylars anti-fog).

I need to just get rid of mine, I can even remember when or how i got it. Ryan I used your fog tech for the night game and didn't experience any fog even when we were in the tree line near the cemetary, although I had some glare

Wicked-Mpact, you can't. That lens cleaner has history. It was the first thing I ever borrowed from you, at my first game, and the first time I ever talked to you.

Sell it on ebay.

Fogtech works good, downside is that yes it will put glare on the lense because it is like an oil. Plus it will wipe off with water, so too much sweat/condensation will take it off and you will get fog.

Yeah John you borrowed some for Sunday.
