Looking for a Gunsmith!!!
« on: February 04, 2007, 09:12:29 AM »
I just bought a Springfield 1911 .45 Loaded Full size stainless. I want to make the action, and trigger smoother.  As well as the loading ramp if thats possible. In the future I may even want a match barrel and night sights. Where can this be done in the valley? I am sure scottsdale gun club does this but, I think they may over charge a $$$$ big bucks.

+1 for Hobbs. While I personally have not had any work done by him, I've seen what he can do and have yet to hear a complaint from a customer. That being said, I purchased an M4gery from him for my father and the deal was top-notch.

I recommend Gordon at Big Bore, he's done an enormous amount of great work on a buddy of mine's Springfield, he is top shelf.
