Okay, supplemental idea: shdsteel can get the straw bales, but for added walls, those corrugated plastic political signs that sit on every corner are now up for grabs with the polls closed and the election over. We could rip some of those out and re-place them in the field as cover. If some of you are willing to help gather some and bring them out before the game...

This sounds like the 9th circle of hell. Also, not sure of the legality of it. Might Probably be wrong about that.
I'm fairly certain that after the polls are closed, the signs are free game. The candidate/prop committee has seven days to take all the signs down or they're cited for littering. So we're really doing them a favor.

If it's kosher, I would be more than happy to grab some. If someone is headed there from the Tempe area, let me know and I'll snag a few.

It is as long as that race is over with. Aim for the bigger ones. And grab the stakes too. I'll grab them from a few others and put them all on a trailer.

When is Taylor getting all of this hay and when is it getting to fear farm? I suppose since my refund hasn't been sent yet and something is actually happening I might as well help.

So everybody knows I live two minutes from fear farm and I'll be more then happy to help set up or anything. I don't work Thursday or Friday, so if we're doing something on those days I'll be there. I think we should all go help Friday no matter what though then convoy out to Tempe Paintball for some good ol' plastic slingin' stress therapy.

Haha yeah. I should get the hay Friday. And some signs this week. Remember to get the signs that we can actually use for a wall.

Think there's some really huge Arpio signs near me. They're about 4 ft. I'll see what I can do. Do you need the smaller ones too?

Okay, full update of what I know is that the corn has not been cut yet, but there is a massive fine if anyone is caught in it before it's cut down, so using the corn is out. It's scheduled to be cut either Friday evening or Saturday morning, I'm going to see if Fear Farm can push that forward a day or so so we can have more time to build a field. I don't know if the corn is going to be left on the ground, scooped up, or bailed, but on the off chance that we're lucky and it's bailed we might also be able to use bails of corn to supplement our bails of straw. Between what straw we can get and some political signs, we can at least put some barriers on the field for players to use and/or zombies to use as cover, and at best we can build some corridors and such to fight in. I think this is looking salvageable.

With any luck, the game will still be on for this weekend, and anyone who requested a refund solely because of a "time off" issue will still want to come out and play.

Did you read your own post. It clearly says we postpone and run it at the uac. Last time I checked postpone means not on the same day.

I called Peoria and Glendale Pd they said the signs are free range now that elections are over.

Also all walk on's will get the pre registration price because of our mix up and issues with the fore marshals. Let's make this event as good as it can to ease money for our friend and mentor Ron Bilodeau.
