If the seller is in AZ, you can do a face to face transfer with cash if you are both AZ residents.

If the seller is out of state, a form 4473 must be filled out for the transfer, and the firearm must be shipped to an FFL holder.  There is generally a fee associated with this service, usually $10-50.  Most gun shops can help you out with this.

I have some goggles you can borrow indef, but not until someone tells me what the fuck is going on here.  How did you lose your gear?

All I see is a bunch of pee-pee slapping.

So go to a game.

There was no need to create a new topic for your little rant.

If you increase the density of darker patches, it will be a more effective camo pattern.

As for the bipod, just don't ever do that with a real gun.  Lean into the gun, and that shit will collapse on you rickie tick.

But, good job on the paint.

That said, I wore a CIRAS for airsoft, and liked it.  It's just not the lightest, or the most breathable option for carrying a few mags and a bag of BBs.
+1 on this but i still love mine. The weight piles on the more you add to the carrier. If you are looking for lighter weight but want the "look" of some protection, a plate carrier like an Eagle RRV can still look ok I guess.

While it has the ability to carry ONE PLATE, I would classify the RRV as a chest rig.  Splittin' hairs, I know.

The RRV, and it's similarly built cousins like the offerings from LBT and TAG, is still one of my all-time favorite chest rigs, even in a day where lightweight 500D kits are popular.

unfortunately, we were packing up after shooting and it was somehow missed. we drove 2 blocks down the road, realized, and turned around. it was gone. someone said they saw a man come up on a quad and drive away. thats my only lead.
its irreplaceable because of then immense cost and the custom patches. i cannot make it again.

The takeaway from this is to keep positive control of your shit at all times.

I don't see anything in that picture that can't be bought again.

Don't talk shit about a reputable brand, simply based on the fact that they won't help you find a holster for your BB gun.

Ghillieman - go check out my thread 'Gear & YOU - an illustrated compendium', notably, my first post. Gives you something to think about.

I have a Diamondback Tactical RBVP which is basically a Paraclete RAV, which is the same idea as an Eagle CIRAS - they're not lightweight, and they're very cumbersome. They get verrrrrrrry hot.

It's basically the same thing as the OTV, that you have. You would really be buying the same thing, in theory.

For your intents and purposes, Vince is correct.

I have worn the Paraclete RAV and Eagle Industries CIRAS quite a bit, with the soft armor and plates (the latter was my body armor in Afghanistan), as well as a CT plate carrier in the ghan with ESAPIs and soft armor backers.

For just playing airsoft, a plate carrier will do, but I recommend going with something like the chest rig Vince has.  You just need something to carry your ammo, water, and items to sustain you for a couple hours.

Clear some floor space and lay out the necessary items you need to carry for an all-day game.  Then, think of where you want these items and choose a rig accordingly.  More times than not, a chest rig will do just fine.

That said, I wore a CIRAS for airsoft, and liked it.  It's just not the lightest, or the most breathable option for carrying a few mags and a bag of BBs.

Is it really worth 700 dollars? thats the cheapest ive seen it b4 i want to invest the money i was wondering if someone could tell me whats so great about it that makes it that expensive please reply thanks

Ya that def isnt worth $700. Thats crazy!

I paid $1500 for my CA249 Para with some upgrades when it came out.  My team and I have got alot of good use out of it over the years, and it's worth every penny.

Also, if you pay attention to the newest weapons system being acquired (Mk16, HK416), they are 5.56.

Caliber-wise, there is quite a broad range of special-purpose bullets out there for 5.56mm.  If you want to know what works, look at what's in use by the folks who have some input into what weapons systems they utilize.

No the military is looking into it but I think what they're gonna do with the M4s in the military is replace all the upper recievers with a new gas piston system, which Bushmaster makes, to reduce the jamming of regular Colt M4's. More cost effective in my opinion.

Where did you hear that?

I can assure you that will never, ever happen.

Again, let's stay on topic.

They are the best SAWs.

I have one just like that, but with a custom M4 type collapsible stock and full internal upgrades, plus a weight reduction package (Mk46 Mods).

I'll let it go for $500 or so since I never use it anymore.

PM me if you're interested.
