Just stumbled across this forum this is awesome that there is a local community board on Airsoft.
Anyways I just started fairly recently all because me and a few friends went to Tempe paintball. I havent paintballed since I moved to phoenix back in 2005. But while I was in Cali i played on a weekly basis.
So paintball was fun and my past hobby was rekindled. While we were there Darren(Co-owner?) showed us the airsoft area and I immediately wanted to play. Well it had to wait... til next weekend at least.
9 of 10 of us played (one was scared from the last week we played pb) at the airsoft area and man what a rush! I go shooting at Ben Avery regularly but punching paper is not as fun as actually being in a scenario.
I had to get my own gun and sidearm! I tend to go all out when it comes to my hobbies lol. But its not too far off from the cost to go shooting and having a firearm. Airsoft is cheap but not that cheap. aeg plus accessories can cost almost as the real thing and admission to the park is comparable to buying bullets and range fees.
But like i said before is not as fun as airsoft!
