alright guys, vanguard is holding a special session on labor day. (monday, sep. 6th)

Pay only $25 to play from 10am-4pm on monday, that's six hours of play for $25! (don't forget, there is re-entry as long as you keep your wrist band. plenty of fast-food around the venue as well!)

After noon on monday, the price will go back to the $20 for one session (12pm-4pm)

Be one of the first 10 people at the field and get a pack of 500 BB's for free!

i'll be at the VIP on sunday, and monday. hope to see everyone out there!

I will more than likely be there Saterday, if not then I will be there Sunday. I just don't trust Monday due to everyone doing stuff with family. You know.

that's great news bigwavedave, when i move back to the valley i'll be sure to head over during the week to check it out!

has it been mostly walk-ins? or do you guys coordinate and come out with a group..

ocean, i'm sure there will be a decent sized crowd on monday. the past two weekends have had 20-30 players easy. i'll be there for the last session on saturday as long as my rifle is ready, and as long as i am actually in the valley that day heh

How popular are the Yellow band (350fps) games at Vanguard? I havent been to vanguard yet because things keep getting in the way. I havent chronoed my gun and i dont think its shooting under 330 and i dont really have the money or time to change the spring. Oh, and how many people areplanning on being there tonight from 6-10 session? I might come if i can find out this information.

I just poor man chronoed my gun it went through both sides but couldnt penetrate the bottom center. Anyone have an idea of what the fps might be?

Whats the deal with the different FPS limits? I'm trying to go tomorrow, I called up the 'store' a few minutes ago and some guy told me 330 was the limit, but i see 350 and 380 limits are available as well. My guns can be adjusted in just a few minutes but i'm trying to figure out what the real deal is, also they don't mention anything about the face protection on the website, but is a paintball mask required if you are over 18?

alright guys, as far as FPS goes, 330 is the limit

there is a chance they will not let you play if you are shooting over 330, there is a chance they might. 330 is the happy medium

for PPE, you have to have your mouth and eyes protected regardless of age.

my rifle isn't ready yet, so i don't think i'll be playing this weekend

i'll drive over in a little to check just in case

carbon14c, why does the field waver have a check box for 350 and 380 if the limit is 330???
Title: Re: Games at VIP (new CQB arena), for week ending 9/6 (monday)

if there are alot of players with weapons chronoing above 330, they may allow you to field rifles that they normally wouldn't allow

the reason i say 330 is because that will allow you to participate in every game, guaranteed.

waiver's are generally a CYA, if you get my drift

Right now 330 is the limit and we aren't running any higher public FPS games at this time. The waivers mention the higher FPS allowances for the future when we will run higher FPS games. However, if you have a private party and want to schedule to come in before the regular sessions, you can play your chosen FPS level.

Face protection is required no matter the age range. We require you to wear eye protection within the arena and full face protection inside the field boundaries. This could include the full face mask or goggles and a neoprene iron mask. As long as it covers your eyes, nose, mouth and ears properly.
