Digital camo cloth

I noticed Joanns had a bunch of this the other day for $6.99 a yard. Woodland color. Haden't seen it before in raw cloth.

For those of you that make your own gear.

We make it out of cordura, not Nylon or Cotten, or blends.

I mean anything. The belt pouches I use for birds and shells when quail hunting are a cotton/poly blend. *shrug*

Well, you need something a little sturdier/durable. When your sticking mags in and out of them.

They have acu material at walmart, no big deal... Now if you found some MJ kahki (1000 dernier cordura) or multicam (cordura or 50/50 Nyco twill)then there would be reason to celebrate. On line prices are much better than joanns anydang way.

You might try SAS which has a store on 19th ave near Hatcher. They sell fabric by the pound, and D-rings, YKK zippers, velcro etc. I've bought 500 denier Cordura in Woodland there in the past.

They have another store, I don't remember offhand where.

I've seen the stuff at a few places in Tucson, but I believe it's the cotton kind.  Millers Surplus in Tucson has I belive both green and tan digital, if I remember right it's 7-bucks a yard.  I know they've got tan, the other may be the urban, been a while...  I saw the tan at walmart cheap (about 4 bucks?) but not quite as good quality material.  The print looks good though.  If you're going to cover something in the material rather than do it from scratch, I'd do it on the cheap side.  Tucson has a SAS as well, perhaps I'll investigate there.

Waalll ...Not being a fashion slave, I happen to like subdued Urban camo myself.

Light cotton isn't durable, but for stalking it's quiet.
Right tools for the job, eh?
