sorry about that. I just got carried away and I just noticed that slowdown problem too. I'm so stupid 'cause all I have is a 56k and I just noticed that avatar I use is killing me. Once again, sorry about that. ya gotta love that scene though. haha.

hey, let me know if the new one is slowin' everything down please. its working great on mine so I figure its within 50KB. I tried to find out how big it is but I can't find anything in its properties.

I dont know B to KB, but it is 156,834 Bytes.

Guys, you're more than welcome to use Avatars from the web and/or other sites, but please keep the file size reasonable.  There's no reason it should be any bigger than 50KB since it's all limited to 64 x 64 anyway.

As a side note, Bladerunner, you set up an animated gif avatar which is fine, but the size of the file was 500KB which isn't fine since it slows down the pages considerably (so I removed it).  You can put up another one, just watch the size.  [:)]
