DO NOT use the dwell to decrease your FPS. You'll get poor consistency. Consistency and accuracy go hand in hand.

Set your dwell really high, dial in your FPS using other means, then slowly drop your DP until your FPS starts to drop, then re-increase the DP by 2 or 3.

Add more shims, use a lower flow poppet, lower flow nozzle, etc. You just need to cut the air down, multiple ways to do that.

1: $120 - KWA M9 Tactical GBB Pistol. Brand new, never been shot. Won it at Op: Copperhead.


2: I also have an Ares Tavor, I haven't decided if I want to sell this or not, but if somebody really wants one, I'd probably let it go. I removed the POS hopup and modified a Prowin M4 Hop up to fit. It has a 6.03 barrel in it, mosfet installed. It needs a new motor though, and I just haven't gotten around to taking it apart and replacing the motor. Other than that, its gtg.


Any questions, feel free to ask.

If you want to work out a package deal, I'm all for it. I also have some 45/4500 tanks that I will be offloading as well once I sell this stuff. If you need one with one of the above items, let me know.

Get a tight bore barrel and rhop.

A standard hop up nub has to pinch the bb really hard, and hold onto it for quite a while, causing wasted air to go right past the bb for a bit.

Same thing with your barrel, if the bb is loose, air goes right by it, wasting quite a bit. Pick up a Prometheus 6.03

What is your idea of low air consumption? What tank are you using and how many shots are you getting out of it?
