AEG's / insanities of EG1000's
« on: September 13, 2002, 12:12:42 AM »
Are eg1000's simply faster motors with LESS torque? I just tried putting a pdi 150 into my m4, and even with a 9.6v 1800 mah battery the motor would try, but couldnt spin. Tried with 2 different eg1000 motors, and switched out every part. Stock spring works great, just cant manage to turn a PDI 150 for some crazy reason.

Theorys?

General Airsoft Discussion / Bug bombing the ranch
« on: September 08, 2002, 12:18:39 AM »
Me and samuri Jack bug bombed the ranch this evening around 9. Im not sure which houses needed it so we tossed one in each house. Hope we got em, being as it was night, we couldnt find the bees... heh, guess we should have had the foresight to see that part of the plan. Ah well. If it didnt get them this time, we'll get em during the day sometime in the near future.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Sept. 28th
« on: September 04, 2002, 10:50:41 PM »
I am wanting to do a game on this date.. two questions.

Is this date acceptable to most?

Where do you want to have it? I really wish to have a woodlands game, but do not know of any locations that are true woodlands. Anyone?

General Airsoft Discussion / The costs of a good airsoft game

The pic isnt even a good representation of all that has happend to me yesterday, but hey.
<img src="http://members.cox.net/int0xication/Fire.JPG" border=0>

That was from taking advantage of a really good spot and not wanting to move even tho it was ontop of a pile of fire ants. Its pretty much like that allup my left arm and a lil on my right. That is, until they started crawling into my pants. Matt and mark can attest to what I did when that happend. (screamed like a school girl and dropped my pants a few inches as i ran wildly in small circles rubbing my @ss like no tomorrow)

I also ripped off my pinky toe nail on my left foot, but you cant really tell, as the toenail is still there, its only attached by the root at the base of the nail tho. Sprained my left ankle as well. Also have a big ass burn from leaky duster gas covering my hand and freezing my glove to my fingers for like 30 seconds.

The joys of a good battle. :)

Fighting terrorism is like being a goalkeeper. You can make a hundred brilliant saves but the only shot that people remember is the one that gets past you.

Accessories & Gear / Lessons learned with the ICS large forgrip
« on: March 25, 2002, 10:06:54 PM »
When they say that the forgrip is designed for a mp5, trust them. I just installed it onto my mc51, and well, it didnt even come close to fitting. After cutting out a fair bit of the top opening, and internal plastic to make it fit around the receiver, I find that a large battery cant fit into it without taking around 1 inch out of the reciever. Not wanting to damage the gun itself, I cut a hole into the front of the grip, and make it so that the battery protudes out of it. THEN I had to add a bunch of hot glue on the inside of the grip so that it didnt wobble like mad. But then again, PART of that was due to the fact that I cut a little *too* much off. But, it would be necessary regardless. Oh the joys.

Well.. it fits, and looks just slightly odd, but it works well overall. I wouldn't personally recommend it if you have a MC51 however, but thats just my opinion. I don't quite know how it would fit onto a mp5, or if you would still have some of the same problems or not.

Lessons learned, sexy gun, lessons learned, sexy gun...

People love disregarding their talents. What they love even more is coveting other people's. Everyone wants to be a rockstar.
Except rockstars.

The complexity of a weapon is inversely proportional to the IQ of the weapon's operator.
