*spoiler*

I dont get the level where he launches the nuke on DC, did it actually detonate on the ground? or just above space (think its the later)? Overall thoguh it was a good game, I've started doing some of the special ops stuff, and i think its a good challenge.

If anyone wants to play online or anyhing hit me up on steam"

He set it to detonate in space over DC and the resulting blast released an EMP over the whole eastern seaboard, his goal was to take out pretty much everything electrical so it would just be all infantry focused in DC.

Again, they need a technical adviser.

These game developers have watched way too many movies.

EMP from space?  Wow.

no, that actually would happen, a high-order nuclear detonation in the inner atmosphere would have that effect...not worldwide, but in a localized area

Quote
"For example, a nuclear weapon detonated at an altitude of 400 kilometers over the central United States would cover, with its primary electromagnetic pulse, the entire continent of the United States and parts of Canada and Mexico."

They've been warning about this for a few years now.

I'm hearing mixed reviews about this game.

Didnt they do high altitude nucular tests in the 60's or something, that caused all the electroincs in Hawaii to stop working for a day or something?

and what about the explosion that destroyed the satalities..... The one you were on was at least a few hundred miles away...

My impressions of the game:

-the minigun is all fuckered up.  Big time.

-the rest of the guns aren't much better.

I hope any sequel / expansion has a much better technical advisor.  Or one, period.  It's as if they paid a gamer to tell them what's up re: the weapons.

The AK especially brought a tear to my eye. But they didn't get anything Russian right in the game, let alone the stuff they should've known better on.

Accuracy aside, I really hate the strawberry jelly they try to pass of as blood when you get shot.

I'm not sure about this, but would the force even transfer through a vacuum? I'd think not.

You didn't like the Uber Tacticool AKs of five years into the future?

I was quite disappointed in the game.
Those heartbeat sensors were lame.
ACOGs sucked Major ASS
Some of the "Special Ops" Games were like playing airsoft.
The Knife part of the ending was kinda cool, But unrealistic.
As stated before, They need a real Technical Advisor.
The first game was better.
All in All I'm glad I didn't pay for it.

They do have technical advisors..Just like hollywood movies. But do you think that all these little kids would enjoy the game as much if it were ACTUALLY realistic.  ](*,)

They can at least get the guns right.  It's a gun game.

I know what would happen.  I went to a school for that sort of thing.  EMP isn't like they make it out to be in movies.  Would you like me to make you  a NBC4 report?

I've been in the military for five years and I have never touched a single sandbag.  That's what fuckups and LN's are for.

I think the game is fun.  It should not be described as realistic, by any means.
