Jan 30th game - Rainman redo
« on: January 23, 2010, 09:27:30 PM »
Our last attempt got messed up by the weather, and the weather man.  So were going to try again this coming Saturday the 30th.

Same Location:  http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&source= ... =UTF8&z=17

Ect. Ect.  This time I'll ignore the weather reports.  And maybe we can get more people out.

actually my bad the road he referenced is BT(bushnell tanks). This is the road to turn off for 4peaks. If you follow this map and keep going on service road 401 you will hit the AO parking area

AO UPDATE**
I was out at the Nov 14th Four peaks AO today.. Cars will not get passed the first staging/parking area with the bathrooms so carpooling would be a must. The Ground is pretty dry but the creeks are running again now. There were a lot of people out there today. Snow about 3 miles away.

I would love to go let me check with my friends and I can give u a good head count of how many will be going. If u have a link to the older post that would be nice so I can get good details about what will be there and rules etc.

FYI, the AO pointed out in the maps is the Sycamore Creek AO, not to be confused with any other AO designation.

Were planning to meet up at the Conaco, the last chance gas station across from the Casino, around 7:30am. Hoping to hit the AO at 8am.

Gun and grenade rules will follow the basic big OP rules. http://www.oplionclaws.com/fieldcombatrules.php

Respawn rules may change depending on which type of game we are playing and how many people show up.

There will be no Mag police at the game. So use whatever mags you want. I would prefer to not see an MP5 with a C mag hosing the entire field with BB's however.
At least a semblance of tactics and realism, or it just isn't fun.
