Hey guys, I live in Oklahoma and haven't found anyone who plays yet, but I have already began purchasing gear. A few weeks ago I bought a g3sg1 and decided to install a new barrel on it. In a stupendious move, I purchased a systema bs 6.04 for the m16a1 (longer barrel, more accuracy is the thought that ran thru my head).
Well, after getting everything back together I find that my shots are falling short of my aim from about 30ft no matter what the hop-up is set on. I thought at first maybe my battery was going dead so I charged it up but still get the same results.
Ive done some research and happened upon the "vaccumm" theory, where the barrel is too long and the piston starts to pull back before the bb has exited the barrel. Is there any other reason my shots could be falling short (perhaps I fudged up the install) or do I have a case of the suck backs, and if so whats the easiest way to fix this?
BTW, at 30ft I am getting close to pinpoint accuracy from shot to shot... too bad I'm having to lob the bbs lol
