Was here for training from June through October about 5 years ago. In addition to that I had a motorcycle and the Army requires you to wear long sleeves, pants and over the ankle boots. Also, if you have never been to NC, then you will not understand that "yeah but it's a dry heat" REALLY is an accurate statement. 75 Degrees with 90% humidity is worse, trust me.
The only thing that gets me is the altitude but I get used to that in about 2 weeks. It has an additional bonus called "blood doping" which is absolutely GREAT when I get back down to 300m above sea level.
