AK-47 Upgrade Help

I have been searching around and I have been researching so I would like to start off by telling you that I tried but I just cant find an answer.

Ok, so, I would like to upgrade my UTG AK-47 Commando (version 3 mechbox) with a M100 spring.  I have been getting different answers such as: Its fine go for it, you need to rewire it, if you do that you will need a new piston head, spring guide ect.

So my most basic conclusion and questions I have come up with is:
1) Can my gun handle a M100 spring without any other upgrades.
2) If it cannot, I know rewiring will solve it.  So can someone please post tutorials on how to rewire it?  My dad can do all the hard work, because hes extremely experienced, i just need instructions like what guage wire to use, where to route it, what connectors ect.

Any help is appreciated.

Not to be mean or anything, but the v3 gearbox is not one of the easiest ones to work on, if you want to know if it can handle a m100 you should shoot a pm to PaulDWog, or call the scottsdale JT. Also is it the full stock ak, or the one with the folding stock?

Any help is appreciated.

Doesn’t it come with an M100 out of the box?

An M100 will make it shoot 290-310.  And since a UTG is a marui clone, it should be able to handle it. You might want to consider an M110 or M120, because the M100 won't make a noticeable difference. But yeah, +1 for Paul, he does all my upgrades.
