Airsoft Items FOR SALE / FS: AGM GBBR M4 CQC - 170
« on: November 23, 2010, 03:47:29 PM »
I picked this up recently, and decided my WE SCAR is the only GBBR i really need, so i'm getting rid of this one. RIS has a slight wobble due to the fact that the gas tube is missing (didnt come with the gun). 100% compatible with WA and G&P parts, and real steel grips. Comes with gun, mag, 3 rail covers and RIS foregrip.

PM me with your email adress for pictures.

Thanks

-Matt

I have the Tanaka L96 with the integrated barrel suppressor, and it rocks. But i really do need a replacement stock for it. Mine broke, and i've searched everywhere for a replacement, and still havent found one. If anyone knows where to get one or if RS stocks are compatible with tanaka rifles, could you post here or PM me? thanks

SAW IS GONE!!!!!

I've got a few other things for sale:

8.4v (unknown mAh) battery large type, this thing is the wierdest battery i've ever owned. I dont remember charging it more than 5 times, and i've never had it die on me (playing all day indoor games) its got to be possessed or something. the insulation is a bit torn, nothing electrical tape cant fix -10$

8.4v 3000 mAh NiMH (x2) pretty standard batteries, one has been converted to deans, the other is large tamiya. -10$ each

M4 two piece RIS, number markings on all sides (L,R,B,T) no trademarks, perfect condition (didnt fit on my gun) - 40$

WE 5.1 Dragon Hi-Capa - great sidearm, comes with 2 mags. Needs new loading nozzle, otherwise works great. 110$

Clone M3 flashlight 50$

i dunno what all the fuss is, my scar hasn't broken yet. I clean and grease it every time i take it out and it's still kicking.

I do need mags though. If any of you have WE M4 mags that you'll sell to me cheap i'll definitely take em off your hands. Also these broken guns you speak of, i could always use parts for when something does eventually fail.

AEG's / Re: Celcius Technology CTW

Its basically a systema clone, pretty good quality and half the price. its compatible with Systema internals which is good because i hear they have some issues to start with. I researched them cause i wanted to get one. I've heard great things and i've heard horror stories. Basically its hit and miss with them right now (They're 1st version was a disaster) but maybe they have their act together...

who knows, why dont you get one and lay all this "i heard from a friend of a friend of a..." to rest  :D

Troubleshooting / Re: Paint Job Help
« on: October 01, 2010, 12:08:45 PM »
If you want a professional looking paint job on your gun, heres what you need: First, clean off the area to be painted with rubbing alcohol. Second, put a layer of primer down. Once that dries, you can start adding your color. Do two to three light coats so that everything is covered, but its not too thick. Finally, get some flat clear finish and put a layer of that down.

Make sure to allow each layer to sit overnight. This may seem stupidly long to wait, but a really good paint job takes time and effort, and if you did it right, the results are definitely worth it.

Oh and to answer your question, brand of paint really doesnt matter. I've noticed that rustoleum goes on thicker than Krylon, but that could be good or bad depending on your prefferences.
