Yeah. I am wondering if there was mostly snow there. I live at the same elevation and we were looking at 3" that morning.

There was a decent amount of snow on the ground.  I would say at least an inch or more in some places.  Though much of it melted by about 1:00.

Carefree mtns have snow on them right now.

This was taken near the Mayo Hospital just a few meters south of the loop 101.  It's looking north.

Chip:  Glad to hear you are ok, we missed you out there.  If you plan on re-scheduling your game count me in.  It STILL sounds like fun!

1bad7 & SINJIN:  My Bud should have/will send the few pics we got.

We got to the AO at about 8:45 or so, and the snow coverage was almost complete.   As time went by it melted away.  Picketpost Mt. looked awesome dusted all over with snow.

We had a few unique things that took place like: Snowball fights, cept this ended quickly( I think people where not calling their hits   ),

Also I think a small snowman was built, but got quickly reduced to a puddle by burning hot 6mm BB's.

I will say it again, this spot is great, lets play there more!

Be Well,
Phyrst

Yah, I'll get the A-Bomb game going again as soon as I can.

Glad you all enjoyed the field. Anyone can get a game there, anytime.

Count me in on your game if you reschedule it.  Would've been great to have you there.  At least everything's ok.  It's a very good AO, though.

It's on Tonto National Forest land, and we've already gotten the "blessing" of the local forest ranger. The only restrictions are whatever fire/no fire rules, and if we have a planned group of over 75, we'll need a permit.

In short, we can play there anytime.
