UPDATE:

Address is 5636 E McDowell Rd, Phoenix, AZ. North Gate on BUSHMASTER.

At the Gate you will need a valid drivers license to enter.

Schedule of events for tomorrow:
0730-0830: Check-In and Chrono
0830-0900: Game Briefing
0900-1630: Games
1630: ENDEX

We will be doing a scaled down version of the Battlefield format I was planning to do out at Florence. Depending on the numbers that show up we may do limited respawns for each evolution

Its still going to be Russian vs NATO forces.  Russian will be in green, and NATO in tan patterns.
Acceptable green patterns are Woodland, Woodland MARPAT, OD, Russian patterns, DPM, woodland/jungle Tigerstripe, and if you want - Black.
Acceptable tan patterns are 3 color desert, tan/khaki, Desert MARPAT, desert Tigerstripe, Desert DPM, and Multicam.
The Guard has requested that ACU not be worn by players.

This will be a Battlefield style event, much like what has been put on in the past down at SASCO several times.  Several positions will be designated across the AO that your team will need to capture and hold to accumulate points.  Additionally, there will be the occasional "supply drop" that your team will want to recover to gain bonus points.

General Airsoft Game Discussion / Re: Fort Adobe

AirsoftMAN121, please do not make separate post asking the same question.  Post your question as a reply in the appropriate topic for the game or event.  Your activity on these forums is borderline spamming.  Consider yourself warned.

Local Games Listing/RSVP / Re: EVENT PATCHES!!!
« on: January 15, 2012, 08:28:59 PM »
Most of you guys have either picked up your patches at Gearbox, or I've handed them to you at a game, or I've mailed them out to you.  For those of you that attended and still have yet to receive one, you can either pick it up at Gearbox or I can mail one out to you if you prefer.  Ron has a list of who hasn't received a patch yet.
If you want me to mail one out, send me an email or PM...

General Airsoft Discussion / Re: FPS for D.M.R

A couple of other things to consider about other event organizers and rules regarding sniper rifles/DMR's - at LC events they often limit the number allowed per side, sometimes 1 per platoon or even just 1 per side. That means the person will have to be approved through the COC.  Depends on the event. Some events they may not even allow them. Also, they may have to be bolt action only, no modified semi-auto only AEGs.

I'll go!  I'll see how many others I can drag out for this.

Good times yesterday!  Hope everybody had a great time!
Russians gave NATO forces one hell of a fight for the town, and NATO was able to keep the Ruskies from a couple of objectives.

Lost and Found:  I found a few extra items laying around my vehicle before I left.  If youre missing anything send me a PM.

For those that didn't read the OPORD, here are the directions to the AO, again -
Quote
Field Location – The AO is at the National Guard facility in Florence, AZ.  The MOUT range is located at the intersection of Hwy 79 and Arizona Farms Rd.  The entrance to the AO is 450ft west of that intersection – it is labeled “Hiller Rd.” on Google Maps/Earth.  Turn south on to Hiller Rd. and proceed to the staging area for check-in.

I just sent out an email to the team leaders with a link for a hi-res map download.  Expect a something via email from your team leaders shortly.

Question about the AO, is there any green there at all? (trees, bushes, etc)If not I will probably just wear my GORKA jumpsuit, solid soviet mustard color (wore the jacket for it at RD2).
There are some, but not many.   I would say the areas away from the buildings and town are predominately dull desert tones.

I've posted some of those additional pictures on the CC site and also (hopefully) answered some frequently asked questions.

General Off-Topic Discussion / Re: how do i post pics??
« on: October 05, 2011, 07:22:45 PM »
You need to first upload your picture to a site like photobucket, imageshack, tinypic, etc.  Once you have a link to that picture you use those image tags: <- and then paste the link into the middle of that.

Its all right here:

For those that prefer, you can also register in person at Gearbox Airsoft.

Age old debate.  You can't really get expect a creative and educational discussion on the issue with strangers on the internet (especially the way this one was titled).

There should be a personality test for anyone that wants to be an airsoft sniper - if the test concludes they have unrealistic expectations in life, they should not be allowed to "sniper".
