Riggs is so very right. I must have spent a small fortune on gear/guns for this sport, and it was so worth it. Anyways, you need to make sure those goggles have to right projectile rating and sealed face design is recommended. Most of us use the Bolle 800T (T as in tactical) because of thier strengh and the fact that they dont fog up that bad. Check out Arizona Tactical on 28th ave and Indian School, they have the balaclavas, goggles, tac vest, as well as boots (although they the boots may be abit pricey), infact...they have EVERYTHING tactical..lol. Have fun and play safe.

P.S. do us all a favor and dont aim for the head ;)

Just as a reminder to you havhav, if your under 18 you need to wear a full mask (i.e. paintballmask).  Just keep that in mind.  Also about the balaclava, i found a mesh one at walmart that used advantage hunting camo.  It fits over my mask with a little bit of work, and it helps you hide A LOT better.  It only cost like $1.50 so its a good deal.

This topic has gotten a bit of subject... but in a good way[:D]

<blockquote id="quote"><font size="1" face="Verdana" id="quote">quote:<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"> Yea, i was bored so i was digging through the cupboards, and found some Bolle Goggles. There cool. I used em at school for raquet ball. They got a red lense, and you can see extremly well through them!<hr height="1" noshade id="quote"></blockquote id="quote"></font id="quote">

Make sure your goggles are rated ANSI Z87.1 for impact protection.  There are cheapo goggles sold for a varity of other activities (skiing, motorcycling, lab work, etc.) that will provide absolutely no impact protection from a bb traveling 250+ FPS.  Just remember they are your eyes.

Larada's does not have t800s!  Also, A springer at about 140 fps is nowhere near the velocity of a 270 fps AEG.  Alot of guys are upgraded beyond 350.  The springer test no longer will work for you if you want to play with the big boys!  Also, about gear, when in doubt, buy what the real pros use!  Thats what I do!  Army SF, Marine Recon, SEALs, all use top of the line.  If you can get your hands on the gear they use, you will be in great shape.  Most of the stuff they use is available through the civilian market, so acquiring sweet gear will be a snap.  And remember, save up and buy good gear instead of alot of crap.  You DO get what you pay for with that cheap knock-off HK gear.

X

Ps, and if you got 500 bux, when will you be buying my Glock?  hmm...

Hey, Im planning on buying the M4A1 RIS from wargamers shop. I was wondering if the fake laser sight thing on top of the hand guard could actually house a working laser sight. or if it comes with one. (i saw at airsoftextreme.com they had a ICS PEQ-2 [i guess thats what its called] that has the battery and laser sight) sorry for the long question, i just wanna get the right gun.
