RadioShack has the Family 2-Pack 2-Way Personal Radios for $10. There is also a $20 mail-in rebate which drops your price to -$10. Go to www.radioshack.com and search for 21-1849 to find it. The local stores should have them as well and you can just print out the $20 rebate here:

The radios use 3 AAA batteries each, not 6 as shown on the description.

Now there is NO exscuse not to have a radio for AA games!  Two free radios and $10 extra to boot?  Use the $10 to get a PTT mic for your radio.
