Very Modular, Very lightweight, Very durable, Very easy to shoulder on.  Can be a tad bit floppy unless you either
a)  wear it over body armor
b)  Tighten it up properly
The mesh used is quite stiff, but will break in after short use, revealing its primary drawback.
Why am I bothering, I'm sure MM has a review
[checks MM site]
yes they have a review, read it instead of mine, I'm just a gear weena.

I must second what they say about the mag pouches.  They suck!  Limp as hell, and too tight for fast changes.  The closure system is odd as well.  The same pouches can be found on the GI LBV (which are the LBVs main drawback).

Bottom line:  GET IT!  ITS A SMOKIN DEAL, AND ITS OVERALL A DECENT PIECE OF KIT!

KEVIN, THANKS AGAIN!

Cheap Molle Vest
« Reply #1 on: September 11, 2003, 08:23:25 PM »
I got a cheaperthandirt catolog in today with my order, they are having a sale on a bunch of gear until 10-12-03. But I know some folks on here want to be "geareticly correct" *cough*christian*cough* and they have the MOLLE vest avail in OD green for only $39.99

Here are a couple of pics of the Tan version which is fairly rare to see on troops. The military just don't think ahead it seems[V] they are on the Military Morons website so if it asks for a username and pasword they are both MM.

Or just look at the whole getup with a breif description and a few views of the pouches and pockets avail. HERE

Nice system and it is the new system in use by the US Army

If you want one you can order it from Cheaperthandirt.com and the Item number is "BJR-540"
