Multicam BDU's
« on: June 04, 2005, 05:56:04 PM »
Ok, I want some MC BDU's super bad. Heres my options..

Graywolf MC top, for $70. I can get that right now, but does anyone have any background information on them? I've heard mixed ideas about the company.

Wait till' ICE opens their MC line, sometime soon. Again, any information?

Dropzone Tac's "OP Series" bdu's for.. more than Cryes even. I heard they're ok, and worth it though.

And the obvious.. wait till' my Crye comes in. I'm thinking, even if I DO get Crye bdu's after they make them, I'll probly end up trying other brands as well.

I have one of Gray Wolf's MC boonies.  It's OK, but nothign to write home about.

Drop Zone OPS BDUs (or field) or Crye's would be the only way I went unless Propper started making them.

Just my 0.02

If you can't wait for Crye to open up there retail shop again, I'd go with Drop Zone. Brian Kroon is A+ when it comes to customer service. It may take a while after you order them, but they are SWEET. I had him make me a set of Ops / ACU uniforms in the Universal Army pattern and they are SWEET. Hands down the most comfy uniform I've EVERY paid for. I'd have to say that I like them even more than my Crye combats and field uniforms...

But then again, I didn't "pay" for those...    =)

Then, DropZone it is! Greg and I argued over the new Marine style BDU's and the Ops set. I'll save up, starting.. NOW and get em. It should take no more than 2 weeks to save up.. :-)

Oh, can you take some pictures of the ACU Ops you have? Maybe post them or PM me the pics. Is it the newer pattern, or the old one that I have on my truspecs?
