new airsoft field
« on: December 30, 2011, 10:52:27 PM »
I think if we all chipped in just a little bit to buy a piece of land for a designated airsoft field, we would be able to have a field thats within an hour from just about everyone.

I found a nice little piece of land here: http://www.landwatch.com/Maricopa-County-Arizona-Land-for-sale/pid/231407850

Check it out, its a tad expensive, but it is in a prime location.

It seem that the place you talking about is around the 7th street and camelback. I live close to there and i've never seen that land.

i don't think there is much land around that area to actually have an outdoor game.

What you're talking about would also be a pretty complicated transaction. I imagine you'd need to form some sort of entity like a trust, an LLC or something along those lines to make it happen with multiple people pitching in funds.

alright. I understand it could become a complicated process. We could try using a kickstarter or something along those lines. I think if we worked for it, though, it could hhappen. It is just an idea.

the point of getting everyone to pitch in money is hard to say.. when it come down to like 17g. yeah if you don't know most of the people on here wouldn't mind to pay to play but to buy a land i doubt it.. plus who would the land be under? hard thing to do.

Looks like a nice piece of land. If I had the slightest amount of money I would pitch in but I only have 15 bucks right now I just bought a new airsoft gun and went up to vanguard and had surgery 2 days ago but if u were able to get this land what would you put/make on it.... If u were building wooden structures and stuff like that if you buy the land tell me and I'd be willing to help out.

If i managed to get this land, i would probably build some wooden structures, along with sandbag bunkers. Mabye even add in some crushed cars (if you guys have friends who run scrapyards and whatnot.).

One of the major problems may well be incorporating, Insurance, zoning, permits ect and at the very least a GOOD attorney to put this together... Could easily run a couple of 100k for starters, it would be GREAT though :)

I think this is an amazing idea. All the airsoft places are either vanguard or like an hour and a half away.

Great idea. I don't have any money, but I'll build and work for free.
Harmful heat in my hugs hide,My lips are laced with cyanide
Never mind my medicine breath,Come hither for a kiss of Death...
Where there once were feely fingers, Now protrude poisonous stingers
Feel I'm left with no recourse,But to kill her with no remorse

I dont get it I looked on google maps right there this spot points...there is no lot...on top of that if you make an airsoft field you'll probably have to put up nets too which requires a drilling permit for the holes/poles then nets to stretch the whole length of field.

nvm that stupid arrow points in the same spot for everything. I found it and that's a nice ass lot! but you'll also have to think about vandals...you know how excited people get when they destroy others property (just a concern of mine back when i used to paintball our field always got destroyed).
