Calling all "young" musicians.
« on: September 16, 2012, 05:26:11 PM »
Well my band has gone through a rough patch lately, and we need new members. We are looking for a lead guitarist, and a vocalist, mabye a bass player. I know there probably isn't many 12-16 year olds on here, but that's the age group we are looking for. Exceptions can be made on age provided you are close to that age range. Our practice space is at my house in Scottsdale, AZ, zipcode: 85260 - so it helps to be close to us. You'll need your own ride out here on the first day, we may be able to pick you up/drop you off if you live close. If you want to be in, or know anyone who wants to, just send me a pm on here. Our genre is post-hardcore.

Don't try to argue with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to thier level and beat you with experience.

Define post-hardcore. Some people have different ideas about that genre. Like As I Lay Dying, Parkway Drive, August Burns Red, Bullet for my valentine, etc??.... I don't know very many 12-16 year olds that can play that. My brother and I listen to that^ and a bunch of hardcore bands and even softer stuff in the alternative genre's. He plays guitar and can maybe help you out. PM me

Definition of post-hardcore: We roll with things along the lines of avenged sevenfold (without the complex solo's that i cant play) or escape the fate/bullet for my valentine. Least thats what we play on the instrument parts

If you'd be willing to get yourself out here about once a week - that would do, or we could work something out with half the time in person and other half skype?
