Airsoft Items FOR SALE / yet another getting out of airsoft sale
« on: January 19, 2008, 12:04:02 AM »
My guns have been sitting around collecting dust for awhile now, so i decided it was time that somebody else put them to good use. In between work and school, i don't have enough time for airsoft anymore, ashamedly. This isn't a huge sale, but i thought i'd list what i have to sell.

Classic Army M15A4 with, RIS, AN/PEQ2 battery box, 2 9.6v batteries, mad bull long type grenade launcher, 165 round (i think its 165) grenade, and several magazines. i have a couple of high cap mags (i know gross), i think 2 mid-caps, and some star lo-caps. The gun itself has had upgrades done to it, i believe an M120, systema gears, polycarb piston, and some other stuff that all came in a kit and was put on by the place that it was bought from. It has only been used in 3 skirmishes, so it is still in PERFECT working condition (although the grenade launcher has been used in several more, it is still in perfect working condition, but it has some scratches on it). I will also include 2 sets of handrails (or w/e they're called) if you want to take the RIS off, along with a non-painted stock. All of this for only $400 OBO!

or i will sell objects separately if wanted. let me know.

ALSO FOR SALE...

Maruzen Type 96 with 500 fps cylinder upgrade, and a BUSHNELL 6-18x zoom scope. The only downside is that right after buying the scope and painting the gun, i fell out of airsofting, never taking the time to zero in the scope, and align the hop up correctly. This gun has been used in probably 5-10 skirmishes, so still in amazing working condition. I will sell for $250 OBO. I WILL ALSO INCLUDE A RIFLE BAG

If you would like to buy any of this stuff, just pm me. I will update the actual number of mags for the M15A4 ASAP, i just have to find them all.

Hey guys. I haven't been on for awhile. Anyways, parts compatible with the famas are most V2 gearbox parts EXCEPT the tappet plate, selector switch, electrical stuff, etc. The gears, bushings, springs, piston (half tooth), and piston head are compatible. Cylinder heads are compatible if you put a little bit of electric tape around it so they don't slide around in there.

The only problems with the V1 gearboxes is that it can hold up to an M110, and i have heard rumors of M120's and m130's in a version 1 gearbox. I personally dont want to chance my gearbox breaking, so i only put an m100 in it. the other problem is the motor. The motor is a high speed motor but cannot pull large springs. That is another contributing factor to only being able to use low powered springs. Other than that it's just a matter of finding parts.

Go to trinityairsoft.com and click on "famas" under the "parts specific" menu thing on the left side of teh screen. then click on the famas that you want, V1 or SV, then all the compatible parts will come up. Trinity actually has quite a few parts on there.

As for it actually breaking, mine broke a couple of months ago for teh first time in 2 years. and that is after all kinds of wear and tear, dirt, a whole ton of custom modding, etc.

i removed the iron sites leaving just the picanny rail, but i need to either re-tap one of teh wholes in the gearbox shell or get a new shell. i also took off the extended outer barrel, considering the fact that it just becomes a nuisance in matches.

EDIT: which famas?

Hey guys, I've been airsofting for a couple of years now, and I just registered for AA forums. I am an ASC sniper junkie, but dont worry, i dont have that "high and mighty" attitude. I own a Maruzen Type 96, TM FAMAS, and several other small name gas pistols. If you have questions about either the T96 or the FAMAS, i'm your guy. anything else you guys wanna know?

just to explain my guns in detail... the type 96 has a 500 fps cylinder kit in it, along with a bushnell 6-18x50 scope on it. the famas has an m100, metal bushings, deepfire titanium piston, and systema helical gears.
