For the cost of it, it seems this is ONLY for those who absolutely cannot bring themsleves to paint their baby! 22 bucks seems to be the average price for a 4 can (4.5 ounce, like model paint) set. Then there's me who has several coats of apint on my M4. A recent wet-sanding revealed strata that would make a geologist cry, and I think I even spotted a few fossils in the older color layers. Either way, it's all tan now, and will stay that way.
Nick, you might just want to consider leaving it alone. It really doesn't make any difference, as you will not be hiding out and sniping, or trying to stay hidden for prolonged periods of time. Most of the guys have black guns, and it won't stand out of a crowd if left alone. It seems like more trouble than its worth, unless you plan on leaving it like that for awhile, like I am. You will never get the paint out of the little cracks. Besides, a camo G36 might look a bit strange.
I'd just do the cloth cover thing like we discussed before (over the foregrip, and reciever). Good luck, keep us posted!
