Difference between shotguns?
« on: July 31, 2009, 12:50:18 PM »
I've been looking for a good shotgun that has high fps and the buck shot ability. I have a DE M3 multi-shot with stock but I wanted a new one with pistol grip. When i look at shotguns a lot of them look the same as the DE (which on airsoft megastore is 39.95) but cost from 80$ to 250$. Is this because the company name or is there some real reason they are so much more expensive?

The more expensive models will have better build quality, they could be gas instead of spring and they could also have features that yours does not.

Well see when i compare fps, metal parts, range, build quality, and customer reviews they all seem the same. No real complaints exept that "the pull back is too hard".

Theres no way in hell you can compare a Maruzen in any way with some junk plastic TSD. I have used both, the TSD was exactly what I expected for a 30$ gun, a starter shotgun that used a magazine shaped like a shell, had a passable FPS for close in matches, and would routinely misfire, shooting anywhere from 1 - 5 rounds each time, it finally broke. The Maruzen was consistent, accurate, and gas, not to mention full metal. Some shotguns from higher- end manufacturers also use shells like a real shotgun, shooting several times from 1, then ejecting it, and reloading. While I am an advocate of buying items cheap, the price really does make a difference in the quality and caliber of the gun in this case. Save your money for something other then a cheapo TSD/UTG

\"Friendly fire isn\'t\"
If a speeding pellet in a quiet woods hits a noob in the face, and he cries, does anyone care?
